just discovered a really good place just east of Miagao - a mere 8 peso tricycle ride from town centre. The food was outstanding - oysters, baked squid, raw fish in vinegar sauce - all the traditional Filipino seasfood dishes very well prepared and reasonably priced. even though it was thursday lunch, the place was packed with locals. a good sign that this is a favourite in Miagao.

This is a turo- turo type restaurant by the beach. It's not fancy but food is great. A must try is their "kinilaw". We travel some 40km from the city just to eat their "kinilaw".. A must try. They serve fresh seafoods and ilonggo dishes as well.
